5 Point Night Lifts Sundin to top of WFHA Scoring

Mats Sundin had a goal and 4 assists as the Okotoks RedDragons defeated the PRINCE ALBERT RAIDERS. Okotoks coaches Mike Hurlbert, Pierre McGuire, and Don Cherry were happy with the win. "Our boys worked hard out there, and they got the win they deserved," said Cherry. "Our power play was at 50%, which is amazing," added McGuire. "Sundin, Poni, and Jagr were monsters for us tonight."
On a personal best note: Ryan Shannon made the most of his first and only minute of the season scoring a goal on his only shot of the game. "It was a nice way to start my first WFHA game," he said. "Just imagine what I could do if I played 15-16 minutes a game. The entire arena would be going hatless every night. I don't know what they throw for the second, third, fourth, and fifth hat-tricks, but I'm sure the lovely ladies out there - including Sean Avery's girlfriend - could figure something out."

After a short rehab on his brain this season, Avery has had his revenge for these tasteless remarks from the Okotoks personel. In a playoff clinching game Wolverines 5 RedDragons 0 - Avery chipped in a goal and assist to help defeat the RedDragons.
Sean commented after the game he would like to thank all the remaining Okotoks fans for the half empty beer cans and recyclable garbage they rained down on him as he skated for his 3rd star ovation. "they really should finish all their beer before disposing of the cans who are these people"
